Stand out in the crowd -- Earn your SPHR or PHR designation!
If you don’t have your SPHR or PHR designation, now is the time to start planning for it. The designation is an important differentiator for HR practitioners in any market, but it is especially important in the Twin Cities area, where we have a large community of HR practitioners who are certified.
One of the best ways to prepare for the exam is to participate in a classroom PHR/SPHR certification
exam preparation course. Human Resource Professionals-Minnesota (HRP-MN) is offering an 10 week course, starting September 20, 2010.
HRP’s course is designed to not only help prepare you for the exam but to also provide you with great networking/relationship building opportunities. The course design includes a facilitator and an HR roundtable format, where participants will learn from each other through sharing on-the-job knowledge and experiences.
When
September 20, 2010 — November 22, 2010 Monday evenings 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Where
6465 Wayzata Blvd., Suite 900 (Park Place West building, close to 394 & 100)
St. Louis Park MN, 55426
Cost
Members: $999
Non-members: $1,135
The course fee includes the SHRM Learning System (LS) – the #1 rated PHR/SPHR Prep Course materials. Individuals who use the LS to prepare for the PHR/SPHR exams consistently beat the national pass rate.
Many employers pay for prep courses and exam fees for their HR employees. If you don’t have a budget for this course through your employer, investing in your own career is a wise move (and you will connect with colleagues that you will likely stay networked with for years to come).
