Web Services Committee Chair

The HRP-MN Web Services Committee Chair ensures that the HRP-MN Web site continually evolves to meet the needs of HRP-MN’s board, members and sponsors. This position reports to the Vice President—Public Relations. Below is a list of specific functions the Web Services Committee Chair is responsible for.

 

Duties

  1. Periodically assembles a Web design team to assess and update the Web design.
  2. Implements new Web designs.
  3. Adds or changes functionality to the HRP-MN Web site based on Board/member requests.
  4. Coordinates with HRP-MN management company web site page changes as requested by the board/members.
  5. Implements changes to the Web site pages when it’s an emergency or if there is/will be a delay in the management company’s response to the change.
  6. Recommends ways to enhance the web site to meet the needs of the Board, members and sponsors.
  7. Assists the Board and the management company with technical issues regarding the Web site.
  8. Assists the board with overall technical issues including databases and archives.

 

Calendar

  1. Reviews web site on a monthly basis, making corrections as needed to update information.
  2. May develop a committee and hold quarterly meetings to make recommendations to the Board for improvements to the HRP-MN.org site.

 

Committee Interface

    • Vice President—Public Relations, monthly report.
    • HRP-MN Board, attends monthly meetings.
    • Programs Committee, receives information for web updates.
    • Update Co-Chairs, makes link to current newsletter available on web site.
