April’s Networking Meeting…………..
“My Skill Development---What Am I Doing?”
David Putrich of Lindenwood Consulting, LLC, was our guest speaker at the April Networking Meeting. David showed us how we can do a better job of “taking charge” of our own development---the person we usually place last on the list! Thanks David for helping us better understand what we need to do and how we can get there.
May’s Networking Meeting……………
.
Mark your calendars now for the next HRP Networking Meeting on Tuesday, May 16, 7:15 a.m. to 8:35 a.m., at St. Mary’s University. Quincy Oliver, who promotes himself as the “Most Dangerous Speaker in North America” (maybe we’ll find out why??), will be our guest speaker. We’ve spent a few months talking about our own development and making dreams reality—Quincy will take us down a slightly different path and have us take a look at things we will regret the most if we don’t do them. Sounds intriguing. We are fortunate again this month to have St. Mary’s University provide us with a meeting room and coffee!

March’s Meeting Recap
Unleashing Your Life’s Full Potential & Making Your Dreams Reality
In March we welcomed our guest speaker, Calvin Stovall, entrepreneur, motivational speaker, and President of The Professional Advantage, Inc. Calvin talked to us about “Unleashing Your Life’s Full Potential & Making Your Dreams Reality.” Calvin helped us sort through what was preventing us from making our dreams reality and gave us ideas on how we could move forward. He left us with many words of wisdom:
Move like you mean it….Anticipate success…Never lose the beat!!
Don’t talk about it……Be about it!
Focus on what you can do….not what you can’t do!
Stay away from negative influences!
Don’t put off until tomorrow what you can do today….we’re not promised tomorrow!
Thanks again, Calvin, for a very inspiring morning!
